Installation

• 1. Download mindfusion-orgchart.zip from https://mindfusion.dev/mindfusion-orgchart.zip
• 2. Login to your WordPress account and from the Dashboard choose Plugins -> Add New button. This opens the "Add Plugins" page. There click on the "Upload Plugin" button. Choose "Browse" and point to the mindfusion-orgchart.zip file on your hard drive. Select "Install Now". Note: the file need not and must not be unzipped.
• 3. When the mindfusion-orgchart.zip file is extracted and installed by WordPress you are offered to activate the plugin. Choose yes.

How to Use

Search for the "MindFusion OrgChart" widget in the WIDGETS section into the Blocks bar in WordPress. Drag and drop it to add a new instance of the plugin.

Settings

Use the settings to specify a unique identifier for the org chart or use the same ID to create a new instance of an exiisting org chart. The width and height fields allow you to resize your chart according to the data rendered. Check the "Show employee details to guests" box if you want the visitors of your website to be able to view the data.

Admin Mode

When you are logged into your WordPress site, you can edit and save the org chart. A set of buttons appears that allow you to export the chart into a Json file as well as import the chart from an existing Json file. Any change made on the org chart needs to be saved to the database. Right-click on a node creates a subordinate. Right-click on an empty area creates a root node. Click on any of the fields in a node and you can edit them.
