The samples with the eval version are a bit thin and focused on layout arrangement. 

Are there other samples? Particularly using TableNode . Or even a Entity Relationship type diagram.

You could check the following samples in the Windows Forms version of the control (https://www.mindfusion.eu/FCNetDemo.zip): ClassDiagram, DBDesign, Entities, SWDesigner, all showing different ways to customize TableNodes.

If using Canvas mode, you could also check the "Spanning cells" sample from https://mindfusion.eu/JsDiagramTrial.zip, showing how to set up tables in JavaScript.
