	I'd like the rectangle (whcih I'm immitating as a lane), to remain in the bkground when its selected to be resized. Tried zorder, no luck, or perhaps i didnt try hard enough. Also, any way to change colour to something like transparent?

	Set Diagram-SelectionOnTop to false. You can create transparent colors by calling the Color.FromArgb method with alpha argument < 255. I hope that helps, Stoyan
