Hi,

We are getting major performance issue when we are using EnabledStyleText and PolygonalTextLayout property and trying to create 500 ShapeNodes in our diagram.

If node's text is "ABC" then no performance issue is there but if Text is of higher length and continuous like "CopyofCopyofCopyofCopyofCopyofCopyofCopyCopyofCopyofCopyofCopyofCopyofCopyofCopy" than application is taking app 40-45 sec to draw all the nodes. Amazingly but truth, if we put some white spaces between this string, application takes 2-3 seconds to display all the nodes.

We have used these two properties to display continuous string in two lines if text length is larger but by this way we are facing major performance issue.

Please let know how to resolve this behavior? We also want text wrapping in two lines if string is continuous.

Here are the steps to reproduce the issue:

• Run the application

• Click on fit to screen button

• Now change the string from code to some lengthy and continuous string and check the performance.
