Hi,

we started working with VS2008 and we now get some error regarding the flow chart.

[COMException (0x80004005): Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.]
   FLOWCHARTLib.XMLWriterClass.WriteToString() +0

when we were using VS2005 it worked fine.

1. the flowchart is registered with no errors
2. no code changes were done in our code that uses the flowchart
3. so it must be something with the flowchart itself,
    maybe it needs some runtime from VS2005?

Hi,

If you are using version 4.2 or newer of the component, it requires the MSXML6 runtime. Older versions need MSXML4.
