If we take search from a particular forum or from home page, all the components and their realted groups (discussion, errors etc) are getting selected and we need to deselect all and then select the required group to do the search. Mostly people are looking for a specic compoment and they do the search from that forum mostly. So if they are initiating the search from a specific forum (say FlowcharX), it would be good if you can reorganize the page so that only those items relevent to that forum is getting checked. If the user wants to select all he can do it in a click. I hope this is clear and if you do it like this then it would be more user friendly and easy for us to use it
