Alright, so now I'm baffled.  I guess the next logical step for us is to see if there is a way we can setup a live remote demo.  If you are familiar with VNC or GoToMyPC I could setup a server and allow you to connect in and see exactly what I'm seeing.  This would allow us to verify that we are infact doing the same steps, and for you to see the problem I am seeing.

What's very confusing is I tried this sample app on 2 other computers in the office and they saw the event being fired.  Just get back with me if you are available to do a do a remote demo.

I sent an email to your support address, and got a response saying that 9 AM today we could do a remote connection, and she would put the info on your desk.  It is now 9:20 and I am curious if there is a problem connecting,  if you need to reschedule, or if there is confusion?  If you need to reschedule no worries, but would just like a status update.

Unfortunately it turns out that the XP-style buttons cause a repaint of their parent when the user moves the mouse on and off them. This can be easily checked by creating a new form application with a single button on it. The only solution I can see would be to dock the buttons in panel containers and then position these containers within the Calendar control where the buttons were placed originally.

Let me know whether the workaround we came across (to set the ControlAppearance property to Custom) is sufficient for your needs.
