Hi,

If I decide to use orthogonal style for an arrow, is it possible to provide a curve where the line takes a bend at the control point instead of the hard 90 degree turn?

That's not possible at this time. We have a similar feature in the .NET version, and will port it to the Java applet too in a couple of days.
